Combining the Appalachian ballad tradition with influences like emo, anime, and the Internet, Please Save My Earth sings of love and loss, sharing difficult and nostalgic feelings inspired by the heartbreak and hope of daily life, telling stories of the poor, ostracized, and addicted, and disavowing the structures that keep us separated.
